This special edition colorway of the Air Jordan 1 by artist Dave White made its debut back in February 2012 for $175 USD.
Dave’s take on the Air Jordan 1 “Wings for the Future” came with no Nike Swoosh on the side. Instead he used a splatter paint design to give the shoe a feeling of movement. As a fan of the Air Jordans, especially the Air Jordan 5 and the planes that inspired its design, this release features inspiration from those passions in the form of stars, midsole and heel stripes and the aforementioned “movement” implied paint scheme. He even added some elephant print for a nice added touch.
Looking back at this Air Jordan 1 Dave White “Wings for the Future” design, where would you rank them amongst other Jordan 1 collaborations?
